Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year! The World of Wonders Science Museum is gaining momentum as we seek additional sponsors, plan exciting hands-on exhibits, and spread the word to the families and educators throughout the area.
Here's what's new with the museum and some information about how you can help:
Sponsorships and Elements
It's not too late to close out 2006 with a tax-deductible donation. Sponsorship opportunities are available, as well as spots on our special Periodic Table of Charter Elements. Call us for more information.
Casino Night
Mark your calendars for Friday, January 26, and purchase your tickets for an evening event that is sure to be a blast! It's the WOW Casino Night at the Women's Club, and your $30 ticket includes gambling chips for craps, roulette, blackjack, and texas hold'em. There will also be a silent auction and raffle, and all proceeds go to the Museum. Tickets are available for sale online.
The 300 Club
It's your chance to win up to $1200! The WOW Science Museum has launched its newest fundraiser, “The 300 Club.” Three hundred raffle tickets at $30 a piece are being sold throughout the month of December for a chance to win $100 every month in the year 2007. Tickets will be drawn at the monthly WOW board meetings and all tickets will go back in the pot for the next month's drawing.
It makes a perfect stocking stuffer and supports the continued efforts of the WOW Science Museum. And, all tickets purchased and donations made are tax deductible. For ticket or donation information call Sally Snyde at (209) 327-6369.
BNI Lodi Founders Golf Tournament
On April 20, 2007, the BNI Lodi Founders will be hosting a charity golf tournament to benefit the World of Wonders Science Museum at the Lockeford Springs Golf Course. Download the flyer (PDF).
T-Shirt Sales
Show your community spirit and sport a WOW Science Museum T-Shirt, or give one as a gift. They're available for sale in a variety of sizes for children ($12) and adults ($15) at Danz Jewelers and Sierra Adventure Outfitters, both in Downtown Lodi.
41Pounds.Org
We have partnered with 41pounds.org to help raise funds for the Museum. Every subscription to 41Pounds not only helps the environment, but brings us closer to our goal.
