Chatfield Construction to Manage Property ImprovementsChatfield Construction, Inc. recently negotiated a contract with the World of Wonders to manage the Tenant Improvements at our Downtown location. Chatfield Construction, Inc. has pulled the permit with the City of Lodi and will be managing all aspects of the construction process including Reprography, Estimating, Contracts, Supervision, Documentation, and Inspection; to name a few. Chatfield Construction, Inc. is located at 710 S. Beckman Road, Lodi, CA 95240 and is a licensed General Contractor with the State of California. The company is owned by Chuck Chatfield and Christy Newport and they specialize in the commercial construction industry. Chris Madill, Project Manager for Chatfield Construction, Inc. is in the initial stage of approaching Subcontractors who may be interested in providing estimates to complete the various tasks within budget. Knowing that the World of Wonders is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization, Chris is also helping the World of Wonders search out those Subcontractors, Corporations, or Partnerships who are willing to give generously and offset construction costs. If you know anyone who would like to help underwrite a portion of construction or needs a list of materials to donate, please contact myself or Chris Madill at (209) 992-0358. Chatfield Construction, Inc. will soon have a featured link on the WOW website where you can go and watch the project develop before your eyes weekly. Stay tuned for the link and additional information on our progress. $5,000 grant to the WOWThe Dart Family Foundation from Mason, Michigan believes in supporting education (primarily math, science and engineering) and youth programs. The plant manager in the Lodi Dart facility read an article about the WOW and applied for this grant. Thank you, Dart!
